The Cross and the Crescent Moon  What do you know about the Muslim religion? Do you realize that there are somewhere between 1 and 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide?
Buzzard Bait While it is too early to tell, the current conflict between America and the terrorists and certain terroristic states may well signal that God is speaking to His people once again through world events. This message is meant to direct your attention God’s way. It is also meant to help you interpret these amazing times. These comments will primarily focus on Iraq – ancient Babylon – as well as Saddam Hussein.  
Can someone tell me…?  I want to explain some of the events that have taken place since Sept. 11th. Then too, I want to share with you some of the most common questions that are currently being asked and then I want to equip you to answer them
Another Look At The Watchtower Society I want to lead you in a study, howbeit different study, of the Jehovah's Witnesses. I don’t want to simply fill your heads with some lifeless facts and figures on this infamous cult, rather I want to make the errors of the group very apparent to everyone.
A Spiritual Chernobyl I want to direct you to four major concerns. These four areas of concern are foul and poisonous spiritual pollutants that are having a dramatic and deadly impact on many today. 
Do you know right from wrong? I want to give you several guidelines which will help you to determine right from wrong. 
DON’T FORGET THE CAMELS Opportunity is present. You can go anywhere you want from right here. Why not leave the maddening throng behind and go for excellence?!
How would you like to be a sheep? When I mention the shepherd, I want you to think of Jesus. When I speak of His sheep, I want you to see yourself.  

SEVEN things you can do to reach your mission field I want to share with you seven things – in no particular order -- that each one of us can do to help reach our mission field for Jesus.

Sleeping With The Pigs This morning, I want us to look at one of our Lord's parables; The Parable of the Prodigal Son.  
The Good Bad Guy The prodigal is seen returning to his father and to his household. In the end, the only one who is left outside, in the whole chapter, out of three different parables, is the good bad guy, the elder brother.  
Why do the wicked prosper? "Hey, I've kept all the rules.  I've followed the Lord.   I've obeyed the Law.   Why, then, do evil people, who make no pretense of believing in the Lord, receive blessings which appear to be from God while I have to pinch every penny?"
WHAT A PARTY! As strange as it sounds, this story of a party two thousand years ago seems to capture the major feelings towards Jesus yet today:
Three Steps To A Miracle Do you need a miracle? In order to see God move in a life, a church, or in some hopeless situation, a price must be paid.
THE CUP, THE CROSS, AND THE CRYPT Friends, the war is over, The Lord’s purpose for coming and dying has been satisfied, God is not mad at you or me anymore! Victory is ours. Our sins are pardoned -- now and forever!  The Lord is risen! The Lord is risen INDEED!
He Still Heals Today There is, however, another avenue to health that I want to explore with you this morning. This is divine healing. As a church we believe that Jesus heals. I want to give you five reasons why we believe this to be true.  
see his Glory! This morning I want to begin a new series of messages.  For the next several weeks we are going to study the nature and character of God.  Each message will focus in on His attributes, by that I mean those things that set God apart as being God.  The first attribute that I want to talk about is the glory of God
THE GREAT ETERNAL GOD  Much mystery still surrounds our great and awesome Lord.  Well, this morning I want to try to sweep away some of the mystery. It is my hope that the message helps each of us in our understanding of God.  Today we will explore the fact that He is eternal 

YOU KNOW GOD KNOWS! This morning I want to continue on with my series of messages on the characteristics of Almighty God. Today I declare that God is omniscience -- all-knowing; He is perfect in knowledge.

Is anything too hard for God? Tell me, is anything impossible for God? Actually, the answer is yes. That may come as a surprise, but it really is true. God cannot do anything that would be inconsistent with His nature. For instance:
Let justice roll I want to continue my series of messages on the attributes of God.... Today we are going to explore the fact that He is perfectly just. He is, we aren’t. 
REVEREND GOD I want to wrap up my series on messages on God.  as you might expect, I want to focus on GOD AND HIS MANY names
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD If you think that all of your problems would be over if only you were one of the 50 beautiful people in People Magazine... think again! 
THE LEAP OF FAITH Jesus likewise asks each one of us to also take a leap of faith.  We have to turn loose of self reliance and pride and grab hold of His righteousness.  
The Leap Part 2 (And The Question Is…) This brings me then to the fourth question. ROMANS 8:35 ASKS, “WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST?”  We shall spend the rest of this morning’s message looking into this matter.  
Rooty toot toot! Many people. Including some Christians, have made the tragic mistake of believing that serving Christ is merely a matter of stopping certain things
The Nicest People Simply put, kindness is a quality in one's self that makes the individual as concerned with the feelings of other people, as he or she is with his or her own feelings.
BLESSED BLESSERS “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God….”
dirty words Today we will learn that we are to put off dirty words.
Dumb Crooks While the folly of these crooks is apparent to us, so it is that the folly of our sins is no doubt equally apparent to God. He therefore tells us not to give in to temptation. Rather He commands that we put off certain evil things and put on the character and nature of Jesus Christ. That is what this series of messages is all about. 
Dead men don't jump You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Friendly Tips On Friendship We were all created with a need that only friendship and companionship with another person can fill.  

a most unlikely grace The story is not new. Jesse Jackson is not the first powerful figure to succumb to sexual temptation. Please turn with me to the book of Second Samuel.  I want to draw your attention to chapters 11 and 12.  We are going to explore the age-old story of the sinful relationship between David and Bathsheba. The Bible uses this story to show the tragic consequences of this particular sin and yet, at the same time, show God’s remedy; His most unlikely grace.

A GREEN OLIVE TREE This morning we will look at how and why we would, should and could be compared to an olive tree. 
Not Who, But Why? The last 12 days have been some of the most amazing days in the political history of this country. Who would have believed that the election for the US Presidency would boil down to one state and less than a thousand votes? I do not intend to discuss with you the politics of who won or who lost. Rather I want us to look at a much bigger picture – and perhaps even a much more important issue – that being why did this happen in the first place? NOT WHO, BUT WHY?
THE fib Sometimes we cannot see the full effect of a sin because we are too close to it.  The ripples haven’t had time to touch all points of the shore yet. 
SUDDENLY FROM HEAVEN Let us pray that once again that “suddenly from heaven” the Holy Spirit will fall and fill each and everyone of us!
REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE BOUND I want to share with you some thoughts on the persecution of the church.
REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE BOUND II We must not forget those who suffer for the cause of Jesus Christ.
OVERCOMING FAITH Some people think that you need faith as big as a mountain to move a mustard seed when, in fact, just the opposite is true!
JESUS, SON OF JOSEPH Joseph’s quiet life serves as a powerful example to us men today. He was a good father as well as an effective father.  
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! I love America.  I am proud to be a citizen of these United States.  In spite of its many problems, I am convinced that this remains the greatest county on the face of the earth.  
COPING WITH GUILT I Are you coping with false guilt? The Spirit has come to set you free Receive that freedom in Jesus right now.
Coping With Guilt II Last week I dealt with FALSE GUILT.  This week I want us to look at the real thing -- true or what some might call justifiable guilt.  
Brother, it is gonna rain Noah - We are going to study the man, the times in which he lived, as well as the message that he preached. We are also going to explore what if anything the brother has to say to us today. 
GET WET!  Again and again the Bible uses water as a type of the Holy Spirit. 
Speaking in tongues Let me give you five benefits of speaking on other tongues.
COLUMBINE HIGH REVISITED I will never ceased to be amazed at so-called Christian parents who refuse to influence their children in matters of spirituality. What's wrong with a parent influencing their children in such matters? Listen mom and dad. If we don't influence them, guess who will? 
A Big Story About a little man Simply, Christ receives sinful men! “He is willing that none perish but all come to repentance.”
The Blessing or the Presence? Many churches, many people have grown content with the blessings. They want the chills and the thrills, the loaves and the fishes, the Cadillac’s and the fat bank accounts. But where oh where is the presence of God? 
EXPERIENCING the presence of god Many people know the blessings of God without knowing the God of blessing. 
FACING LIFE AS IT COMES You can be confident! Just wait, dear friends, and you will see "the Salvation of our Lord."

THAT I MIGHT KNOW CHRIST Are to willing to commit yourself -- your life, your ambitions, your future -- to this awesome endeavor? Are you ready -- like the Apostle Paul -- to pay the price, whatever it might be, to really know Christ?

YOU NEVER KNOW! I want to encourage you that maybe God will choose to use your talents, skills, and abilities to equip you, or someone that you teach or lead, to be the next Billy Graham, to be the doctor that discovers the cure for cancer, to be a missionary that brings a whole nation to the Lord! Who knows? 

GIVE THANKS! Thanksgiving is a sure index of one's spiritual health. The more one is into self or things the less that one will be into praising Almighty God for the part He plays in our many blessings.

Take It Back! Today is vision Sunday.  This morning I want to share with you a word from the Lord.  This word sets the course of this ministry at New Life Assembly of God for the immediate future.

You Can’t Just Sit There! As humans we fear failure therefore, oftentimes we attempt nothing. God hasn't given you that fear! Rid yourself of it and TRY. Make an attempt. After all: You can’t just sit there!
WHY MARY? I want to lead you in a character study on Mary, mother of Jesus. Again, I am interested in this issue of why it is that God chooses to use some people more than He uses others.   

FEAR NOT If you have dread and terror in your spirit this evening, you did not get that from the Lord. If you are suffering from some sort of phobia, Jesus can set you free.

“Is... there... any… hope?” The world is asking, “Is there any hope?”  Our answer is yes, there is ample hope in the God of Hope!
Victory Tips For a New Millennium I intend to give you a brief set of guidelines that will help direct you down a path of newness for the year 2000. These three simple guidelines could very well help replace your this world’s present-day stress with God’s peace and tranquility.
 SEVEN THINGS TO REMEMBER IF YOU MISS THE RAPTURE

If you miss the Rapture, you will face this time of Great Tribulation--count on it! In an effort to help you through this most difficult period, I want to give you an outline, a brief manual on "Seven Things to Remember". These seven things may well be the most important bits of information you will ever hear.
 CAN YOU GO FAST?  Series of 4 sermons and notes relating to fasting.
 HERE COMES JESUS! Think of it! Prophets and saints for the last 2,000 years have looked forward to the day in which our Lord will return and THIS MAY WELL BE THE GENERATION THAT GETS TO WITNESS IT!  Series of 2 sermons on the rapture of the church
 Raising up a LAZARETH GENERATION We have a generation of teens and young adults out there who are dead -- entombed -- in their trespasses and sins. Hope is pretty well gone for them. Nonetheless, Jesus is about to visit the graveyard once again. And when He does He is going to cry, "Lazareth Generation COME FORTH!"
YOUR HONOR! Honor is very much a part of the life of the child of God. It is one of those Christian virtues that comes back to us every time that we give it to someone else.  A series of 2 sermons on honor.
YOU’RE PECULIAR What comes to mind when someone calls you "peculiar?" Do you feel complimented or put down? Edified or insulted?
PONTIUS PILATE If I were to ask you what you remember about this fellow, I am sure that almost everyone of you would mention the same thing: the trial and subsequent crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  And yet there was more to this fellow than this one awful deed. 
PRECIOUS faith  so, what is faith?  Is it trust?  Is it a certain system of belief?  Is it a carefully worded formula?  What is this precious commodity? 
CLINGING! What do you think of when someone uses the word cling?  
THE FOOL The term draws to mind a person that makes bad choices when it comes to God, morals, personal habits, or eternity.  

 

LATE FOR A HEALING; ON TIME FOR A MIRACLE/A VERY GOOD THING WRAPPED IN A VERY BAD THING Have you ever found yourself to be a little frustrated with God?  Have you ever wondered why He seemingly moved so slow?  Have you ever encountered a deafening silence in the face of some urgent request?
