Royal Rangers: Ministry Leader - Rich Falk

Royal Rangers is a ministry for boys ages 5 through 12 that meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium during the school year.  Royal Rangers is a Bible base Christian growth experience for the boys.  Growing in their knowledge of God's Word and how to apply it to their everyday living.

Missionettes: Ministry Leader - Colleen Austin 

Missionettes are for girls 5 years old through high school.  Missionettes meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM during the school year.  Our weekly meetings include prayer, music, achievement programs, crafts, bible study and lots of fun!  Our objectives are all important and include: (1) Win girls to Christ. (2) Teach bible based guidelines for Christian living helping the girls grow and develop spiritually, socially and physically.  (3) Acquaint them with both home and foreign missions.  (4) challenge them to develop their talents. (5) Develop Christian friendships. The Rainbow's program is for 3 & 4 year old boys and girls.

PrimeTime Family Ministries: Ministry Leader - Pastor Mark Kilcoyne

PrimeTime Family Ministries is an outreach ministry to the children of Janesville. The children enjoy a fun time of Bible stories, puppet skits, songs, object lessons, drama, and surprises.  The goal is to bring Jesus to those children who would not otherwise know Him personally.  We meet on scheduled Saturdays (check the PrimeTime calendar) at the church from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM.  Bus transportation is available.

Power Hour & Bible Discovery Zones- Adult and Children's Christian Education: Ministry Leaders -Pastor Mike Jackson &  Keith Overturf (Adult Education) Mark Kilcoyne(Elementary) 

The New Life Power Hour which meets from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM each Sunday morning is when the Church studies the Bible together.  There is offered on a 3 month quarterly basis a variety of Adult electives to choose from.  There are Power Hour classes beginning in the Little Lamb Nursery through Senior High School.  Please come and bring your entire family to grow in the grace and knowledge of God during this hour! New Life has now added the Bible Discovery Zones for boys and girls in the 1st - 5th grades. Boys and girls learn the eternal truths of God's Word through exciting discovery learning. Kids really enjoy the variety as each week they are learning in a new workshop. One week they meet in the Sea Side Cinema, or the Church Mouse Cyber Zone (computer lab), Noah's Arkade (games workshop) Bread of Life Bakery and Cookery (kitchen) Acts of the Apostles (drama) or the Creation Zone (art).

Baby Zones Nursery: Ministry Leader - Paula Davis

Our Early Childhood Ministry reaches out to the youngest of our church members. Through weekly Bible stories along with songs and activities we see the Gospel being brought to these young lives. Our Early Childhood Ministry includes kids ages - Birth through 4 years old.
We include parents of the children as teachers. We ask people to volunteer for a once a month period to provide Biblical teaching and activities with the children. Aside from these volunteers we ask that parents serve on an eight week rotational basis. This allows parents to minister to not only their own child but to others as well. Families are blessed by the commitment of those willing to serve regularly.

This is a specially designed worship service for our children during our 8:00am and 11:00am Morning Church Services. K.I.D.S. Church (which stand for Kids In Divine Service) is for children 1st - 6th grade.

Through worship songs, puppets, drama we present the Gospel each week through many different methods. We use multi-media, video, computer, slides, overheads and anything else we can think of. Each service provides the kids opportunity to learn about worship and how to do just that. We involve kids in skits to help tell the Bible stories and even have puppets help us once and awhile.

The children's church is the ministry to boys and girls who are 4 years old to 6 years old.  Children's church is held during the 8:30 am and 10:30 am services on Sunday mornings.  This time is spent teaching the kids about Jesus using various communication tools by talented and dedicated teachers.

Adult Ministries

The Restore Ministry offers help to hurting people in the Body of Christ.  People hurting from broken marriages; substance abuse; emotional, sexual, physical, or spousal abuse; or hurting relationships with parents, friends, adult children,. or employers are taught how to live through a 12 step Bible based class.  We meet every Thursday night from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the church and this is open to anyone at anytime.  We also meet Sunday at 9:30 AM during the normal Sunday School hour but this is by pre-registration only.  Personal ministry is also available.

This women's bible study  is open to all women who desire to study the Bible, pray, and share together.  Nursery care and child care are provided for the children.

A group of Christian Men and Women meet on Tuesday nights at the Rock County Jail to present the Gospel to those who are incarcerated in the jail.  It is our desire to  minister to the needs of those who hope to be set free and find the love and forgiveness of Christ.

Open heart Ministries is designed to meet the unique needs and interests of women in the church and community.  Once a month we meet for testimonies, learning and fellowship.  Open heart isn't a single program, but rather a number of opportunities.    This program encourages and equips women to minister to one another.

New Direction is designed especially to meet the social needs of young married couples up to the approximate age of thirty-five years old.  We build strong Christian relationships within our church and community through time spent together.  the times shared together are also to serve as a way of assimilating into our church body our new friends.

Honor Fellowship is a ministry to the Senior Saints of New Life Assembly of God.  There are activities provided throughout the year and there is also ministry through home visitation to shut-ins.  Honor Fellowship includes everyone ages 55 years and better.

These adult small groups meet weekly in homes around Janesville. January - May and and September - December. On Wednesday evenings, they meet 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM in homes near the church or one group at church for those who have young children.  Our purpose is to provide a setting in which individuals within the Body of Christ discover each others physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs and through Body Ministry meet those needs by learning how to genuinely love and care for one another as our Lord commanded.

It is our desire as a church to help each person or family that visits or attends regularly feel accepted and welcome here at New Life.  The Hospitality Ministry keeps the welcome center staffed and greets people who are new to New Life and informs them of the ministries of the church.
